Remove my own assumptions
Using a combination of moderated user testing, UserTesting.com sessions, and interviews, I sift through user feedback to understand the underlying issues behind their comments.

Boxes. So many boxes.
I start creating user journeys and site architectures in Miro, FigJam or InVision to visualize the problem. I use those to create quick and dirty wireframes to tear apart with product owners and developers.

Finally, time to add some sizzle 🔥
In Figma, Sketch, or Axure, I then use the team feedback to create clean, usability-centered designs and prototypes with clear acceptance criteria ready for development handoff and user validation.
Can run 26.2 miles with minimal crying
From the shores of Lake Michigan to the mountains of Salt Lake City, I love a good race. Running has always been my way to get outside and experience the world.
Can sit still long enough to make thousands of knots
One day in the pandemic I picked up a crochet hook and now I have a fleet of ghosts in tiny hats and more bags of yarn than I know what to do with.
Can seamlessly add my dog’s names into any song
“This is How we Fitz-y” coming to Spotify and Apple Music, never.
