Through numerous connected web applications, SkySlope
provides end-to-end support with digital signatures, transaction management, guided form filling, and financial management for

MY ROLE
Lead UX/UI Designer
THE PROBLEM
SkySlope has six different web applications. While there was some integration between applications, contacts were not shared universally across products. This created a lot of frustration for users when they had to re-enter contact info multiple times as they went through their workflow. We wondered how might we universalize the information collected for contacts and store it to re-use across all applications.
I quickly got to work exploring how, where, and what info is collected
for contacts today. This kind of
stuff is my JAM.
- Conducted an audit of all apps and their input fields.
- Explored the current pathways to create contacts
- Listed out pain points and rated impact

I proposed a solution in two parts
Part 1
The right now
Behind the scenes, we implement contact sharing across all applications. While they will still enter info from all the same places that they can today, they’ll receive a contact dropdown on input fields that scans contacts from all products and prompt them if they try to create a duplicate contact.

Part 2
The big picture
With everything connected behind the scenes, we also create a hub where where users can manage their contacts. The hub is accessible from all applications and user can see every contact across their products. Each contact would have input fields present in each app so can edit everything in one place.

While the dream of a contacts hub has been put on the back burner due to the large development ask, the contact dropdown and validation has been implemented across some of the applications, saving users from contact re-entry and reducing the number of duplicate contacts in the system.
